FAQ - Frequently asked questions

I have no firearms experience. Is this a problem?
Not at all! Having no firearms experience actually ensures you are not bringing bad habits to class and you are most likely willing to learn. Our classes are desgined to create a warm and welcoming learning experience free of judgement and negative attitudes.
Do I have to bring equipment to Class?
Bringing your own firearms is preferred, however limited rental firearms & ammunition are available for an additonal fee. Ear & eye protection are also available for purchase in class. If you reqire a rental firearms, please let us know prior to class to ensure every student is covered.
Will this CCW Class allow me to carry concealed?
The certificates issued in class are accepted by the indicated state authorities as proof of training requirement to apply for those concealed carry permits. The offered classes use the widely accepted curriculum of the Unites States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA).
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards are accepted for class registration. Gear, safety equipment, class textbook, and firearms rental can be purchased in person on the class date via credit card or cash. Checks are not accepted.
Do I have to pass a live-fire Shooting Qualification?
The WI-only class does not include a live-fire portion and consists only of a classroom presentation. The multi-state CCW course does include a mandatory range portion. Don't worry! You will be evaluated on safe handling and shooting of your firearms rather than your marksmanship.
Do you offer private classes?
